This week May 16-20th is NSSA Westerns at the Huntington Beach Pier and I'm mentally gearing up for it! Some heats go your way and some don't ; let's hope they go my way. With the McCrystal surfboards I have I feel confident in my surfing but there are so many factors that come into play in any given heat.
Next week Huntington High has "the game" against Edison High here at the pier. Big wave rider Brad Gerlach has developed this new competitive format and we're stoked to be involved in it. The winner of the upcoming "game" will then compete against San Diego County's winner, leading up to a National competition sometime in June!
Of course in between that I have school, homework, workout and sleep.
